I am currently a Senior at Washington State University finishing my BA in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. I will be graduating in December of 2009 and am applying for jobs to start when I move back to the west side of Washington state after graduation. I have been taking marketing classes for a year now and have completed several projects based on real-life companies and was part of a team that won a Barnes & Noble presentation contest for creating a Fair Trade retail section and coordinating marketing plan within the Cougar Student Bookstore.

I was part of a group that designed a website for a faux online bridal company for a Management Information Systems course that dealt with E-commerce. I am interested in this position because I am very familiar with Office Suite and am willing to learn on the job and am both a multi-task oriented worker and detail focused. I have letters of recommendation from my previous employer who was a telecommunications company who I had an internship position with in the summer of 2008.

In the coming months, I will continue applying for positions in the field of Marketing and also in other administrative fields. Some of the positions I have already applied for include Human Resources Representative, Accounting Assistant, and  Online Marketing.

My family is my life and I would do anything for them. This factor has made applying for positions near my family a much desired result but I have been unable (so far) to secure a job near home. I also am planning my life with someone special and we are trying to make a jump into the “real world” that he has entered in months past and I will be in very soon.

Marketing for me is not just another job or a fall back career. I believe in the marketing process and one day dream that I can travel internationally for companies as a consultant and determine how to market their products in a foreign market. I know that this dream job will take a long time to develop and may even include the creation of my own company one day, but I do have a goal and a dream and I am going after it will my whole heart.
